Today we finished placing the metal structure so that it wouldn't fall out. We hot glued it which might be problem because the weight added is a lot. we opened up the bottom of the plane with a box cutter. we had already super glued it but we need a place to put our engines and motors. We are planning on taping the fenders to avoid using glue. The fenders need to move however and that is a problem we need to deal with.

More than likely we have come to the conclusion that the battery will go there in the front. The picture shows the open spot on the front of the plane that works perfectly. Only concern is that there will be a lot of weight on the front of the plane. We should test how having a heavy front weight effects the plane.

The plane is looking good and all it needs is the battery. We are waiting till next class to put the battery since we are not present. The battery might go in the front but we are considering other spots. Maybe somewhere more centered on the plane.

Today we replaced one of the rotors on the wing. We think this mechanism will work better when moving that wing than the stock aluminum string. The wings are doing good and I think the next step is to find a place for the battery and servos.
